This Curriculum was developed to update all levels of WIC staff with methods for basic breastfeeding promotion and support.

**A list of curriculum completers is provided to Southern Illinois University, Office of Continuing Professional Education for various disciplines including contact hours for Registered Nurses, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours for Registered Dietitians, CERPS for IBCLCs and attendance credit for all other professions.  

CHTC staff will provide your information and type of continuing education credit requested to SIU.  You will receive an email from SIU requesting that you create a profile on their website using Google Chrome or Edge or Firefox. A short evaluation is required to receive the certificate.

If you have received continuing education credit from SIU for previous training sessions offered by IDHS through the Training Center, please do not create a new profile.  Access to the current continuing education opportunity will be added to your existing profile.  For those attendees that are new, after your profile is created, you will be given access to the evaluation.  Once the evaluation is completed, you will be able to print a continuing education certificate.**
