Choose My Plate (https://www.choosemyplate.gov/):  The most current USDA nutrition recommendations, message and tools.

WIC Works Resource System (wicworks.nal.usda.gov):  The WIC Works Resource System is an online education and training center for staff of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).

  1. Infant Nutrition and Feeding: A Guide for Use in the WIC and CSF Programs

Touching Hearts,Touching Minds (touchingheartstouchingminds.com):  Provides materials that highlight emotion-based benefits of making eating and activity changes in addition to the logical, rational benefits of taking action. 

Bright Futures in Practice (brightfutures.org/nutrition/index.html):  a national health promotion initiative dedicated to the principle that every child deserves to be healthy and that optimal health involves a trusting relationship between the health professional, the child, the family, and the community as partners in health practice.

"Let's Move" CDC (letsmove.gov):  comprehensive initiative focusing on

  1. Creating a healthy start for children
  2. Empowering parents and caregivers
  3. Providing healthy food in schools
  4. Improving access to healthy, affordable foods
  5. Increasing physical activity

Kids Eat Right (eatright.org/kids)  scientifically-based health and nutrition information backed by the expertise of nutrition professionals (initiative through the American Dietetic Association).

Ellyn Satter Associates (ellynsatter.com):  books teaching and training materials on feeding a healthy family, including the division of responsibility in feeding children.
