SUL CEY Strategic Goals

1. Complete a community needs assessment of issues addressing disadvantaged youth in our community.
2. Design and implement a process by which existing programs in our community can be improved and work to develop new programs.
3. Create a system of effective services that link and support programs that offer services to disadvantaged youth, which would include a youth services resource directory.
4. Foster activities and programs that will promote the understanding, appreciation and acceptance of diversity.
5. Serve as a community resource for organizations/community members for the planning and development of programs that offer      services to disadvantaged youth.

The Communities Empowering Youth Program will provide the League and our collaborating partners the resources to strengthen the infrastructure of each individual organization, as well as fortify the coalition of youth-serving entities as a whole. We want to be known as committed and responsible and are determined to lead by example.

In common with our stakeholders, we realize that we must also find ways to sustain economic growth and continuance of our programs and initiatives without damaging the mission of such. This is our responsibility in a rapidly changing world, to address the diverse needs of our coalition and the ever growing need of community programs that address these needs.

Through the application of our core skills, services and talents, the SUL CEY Program strives to make a positive contribution to our community. Building a sustainable business strategy is the SUL CEY response to a rapidly changing diverse world, while we also work to meet the increasing alliance needs and address challenges such as youth violence, gang activity and poverty.
